What Manner of Morph Are You?
William Sheldon and his Constitutional Psychology--the first scientific attempt at a body-based personality system based on the endomorph, mesomorph, and ectomorph somatotypes--are mostly forgotten today except for the three types which have become a part of our general knowledge. Sheldon and his system reached its height in 1951 with a large article in LIFE magazine, one of the most widely circulated magazines in America. The article contains a "Which-Somatotype-Are-You?" test and I include a short biography on Sheldon and his sad career.
